Concerned Citizens of Rutherford County, NC
Our Future
Over the past eight years, CCRC has evolved into a model organization for other groups throughout Rutherford County and the Appalachian and Southeastern regions addressing environmental injustice and quality of life issues. Rutherford County has dealt with the encroachment of extractive industries and businesses, which violate and jeopardize our health, safety, and welfare. Communities have little protection, local zoning, or recourse to oppose these facilities and protect themselves.

But, Rutherford County needs your help! Get involved, speak out, and partner with others working on community activities to preserve Rutherford County.
