Concerned Citizens of Rutherford County, NC
CCRC's Purpose
The Concerned Citizens of Rutherford County (CCRC) is a grassroots community-based group located in Rutherford County, NC. Since its inception in June 1995, CCRC has grown from a locally based organization to becoming a voice for communities throughout the Southeast and Appalachian regions dealing with unsustainable forestry practices. CCRC mentors community groups in AL, KY, MO, NC, PA, SC, TN, VA, and WVA.

On October 30 CCRC hosted its Annual Forest Celebration and Pole Barn Dedication at the Hemphill & Robbins Family Farm. The Pole Barn was dedicated to Mrs. Eileen Conti, a founding member of CCRC
